Terms and Conditions for Piano Teachers of Awesome Piano Lessons
Eligibility
In order to be eligible as a teacher of Awesome Piano Lessons, he/she is required to be a Singapore citizen/permanent resident or hold a valid employment pass. Apart from that, they have to be at least 18 years of age and must have already attained at least a Grade 8 from either the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (ABRSM) or Trinity College London (TCL).
Piano Lessons Fee
50% of the first month’s fee from the student will be paid to us through internet banking or ATM transfer before the first lesson commence. This will form the assignment’s piano lessons fee and will also be deducted from the first month’s fee. Hence, teachers will only receive the remaining 50% of the first month’s fee from the student at the end of the first month. For teachers who follow the first lesson fee collection policy, they may collect the remaining 50% along with the next two lessons of the second month.
Cancellation of Appointed Assignment
The piano teachers will be held responsible in providing an advance notice of 2 days, prior to their first lesson, to Awesome Piano Lessons via phone call should they decide to forgo the appointed assignment. A failure to do so or providing a late notification will result in a penalty charge of $50 to the teacher.
Termination of Appointed Assignment
The piano lessons fee to Awesome Piano Lessons still stands even if the piano teacher decides to prematurely terminate the appointed assignment before the end of the first month. The piano lessons fee to Awesome Piano Lessons will also stand even if the student decides to prematurely terminate the assignment before the end of the first month.
The piano lessons fee will still be payable by the piano teacher if the premature termination by the student is discovered to be due to improper conduct by the piano teacher such as being late frequently. If the student request for a change of piano teacher after the first lesson, the teacher will only be entitled to 50% of the first lesson only.
Verification of Qualifications
Piano teachers will be required to bring all their necessary certificates for verification purposes by the student on the very first lesson, should the student request for it.

However, we do gather regular feedback from students to help in eliminating piano teachers who are deemed unsuitable. Hence, we would strongly recommend all piano teachers to perform to their best ability.
