Starting lessons
How do I get started?
Just message us on WhatsApp with a little about the student — age, level and goals. We’ll match a teacher, usually within a day.
What age can my child start?
Around four to five is a lovely time to begin, but there’s no upper limit — we teach children, teens and adults.
I’m an adult beginner. Is that okay?
Wonderfully so. Many of our students are adults starting fresh or returning after years away.
How soon can we start?
Yes — message us and we’ll match you with a teacher and arrange your first lesson, usually within days.
Lessons and teachers
Are lessons at home or at a studio?
Both are available. Home lessons are our most popular option; studio lessons are also offered depending on the teacher.
How are teachers matched to students?
We hand-pick a teacher for the student’s age, level, goals, location and preferred style. Every teacher is certified to Grade 8 or above.
What if my teacher isn’t the right fit?
We’ll rematch you free of charge. Your happiness with your teacher is guaranteed.
How long is each lesson?
Weekly 45-minute lessons are standard. Longer or more frequent lessons are available on request.
Do you prepare students for exams?
Yes — ABRSM and Trinity preparation is available, or students can simply learn for enjoyment. It’s entirely your choice.
Fees and practical questions
How much do lessons cost?
Monthly fees start from S$150 and depend on the student’s grade, the teacher’s qualification level, and whether lessons are at the teacher’s home or yours. There’s no GST and no hidden fees — see our full rate card for exact prices.
Are there any registration or hidden fees?
None. You pay only the monthly lesson fee. No GST, no registration charge, no surprises.
Do we need our own piano?
For practice, yes — but you can rent a quality instrument from an affordable monthly fee, and we’ll help arrange it.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Singapore — north, south, east, west and central. We’ll find a teacher near you.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
Yes, with reasonable notice, by arranging directly with your teacher. We keep things flexible for busy families.
