Ruyin welcomes students of all ages and levels. She has a degree in music from the University of Oregon and a business degree from the National University of Singapore.
While at the University of Oregon, she studied piano with Dr. Claire Wachter, an acclaimed piano pedagogy specialist, and also taught at the university’s Piano Pedagogy Programme. Ruyin has also performed in collaborative performances with voice, violin, choir and even dance! She has had extensive teaching experience with students of all ages since 2010, developing great rapport with them. These experiences have enabled her to empower numerous students with the gift of communication and music-making through the piano.
Ruyin aims to bring a high level of music making to all her students; she has succeeded in developing good basic technique and note reading skills in her students, as well as musicality in students as young as five.
