Eunice was introduced to music at the tender age of 2 and started learning the piano formally at the age of 3. Since then, she attended Yamaha group classes and graduated with Advanced Extension Course (Yamaha Grade 5). She was also awarded Distinction in her practical results in the ABRSM Grade 8 examinations. Throughout her examined grades, she has maintained the consistent result of achieving a distinction.

Prior to her current position, Eunice has taught as a creative writing teacher to primary school students, as well as guided her choir as the student conductor-vice president in PLMGS(S). Having performed countless times on many different stages and occasions as a pianist, accompanist, chorister and conductor, Eunice picked up a myriad of experience and perspectives and was trained to be adaptable and professional.

Eunice loves cultivating a sense of wonder about music in children and nurturing their talents with hopes that they will soar to their fullest potential and continue to blossom. Naturally patient with children, she understands each child has a different learning style and speed and adapts her approach to the child’s learning capabilities. She believes learning the piano or learning music shouldn’t just be 3 exam pieces and a book of scales, for the world of music is far more colourful and beautiful than that.
