Pearlyn has been teaching piano and music since 2013. Her students ranges from 4-year-old kids to adults over 30 years old. Her teaching experience includes teaching music in primary schools and also individual piano lessons for grading and leisure at a music school as well as private students.
Since the age of 4, Pearlyn has been exposed to music and that helped her to express her emotions in different ways (excited, upset etc.). As such, she always find that learning piano or music in general helps children to express themselves.
Pearlyn likes to share her knowledge and experience of what she enjoys to children so that they can learn to appreciate music as much as she does. During her lessons, Pearlyn likes to use visual tools (magnets, keyboards, magnetic notes) for younger children as it helps them to understand and visualise better the notes, and it is also more interactive.
