Priscillia’s piano journey began when she was around 9 or 10. Although her learning was on and off growing up, it left a lasting impact. She completed Grade 5 in both theory and practical about 15 years ago, and while life took me in other directions for a while, her passion for music never faded. Priscillia oftens continued playing casually, especially songs from Japanese animation, either by learning from scores or playing by ear.

Teaching is something she has come to love because it allows her to share this journey with others—especially young learners. She believes teaching is deeply meaningful and helps her grow both musically and personally. Priscillia’s aim is to inspire students, help them enjoy music, and build their confidence in a supportive, engaging environment. Having stepped away from lessons herself earlier in life, she understands the importance of making learning enjoyable and sustainable from the very beginning.

In 2025, Priscillia also began teaching at a piano school in Singapore, where she worked with children and teens aged 4 and above. She plans and customizes her own curriculum using a wide range of publishers, tailoring lessons to each student’s needs. She has participated in the school’s annual recital, preparing students for their performances, playing duets alongside them, and hosting the event as the emcee.
