Ai enjoys teaching children and adolescents, and has worked closely with youth from ages 2 to 16. She is an energetic, encouraging and caring person, so her lessons are always engaging and dramatised. She builds rapport very quickly and easily. Ai believes a child would enjoy befriending and learning from her.
One of her fonder memories was when she taught a Primary 4 beginner girl for a year. Ai started by building her knowledge in theory including reading music scores before moving to simple songs, and finally, to more challenging songs. She also got her to suggest some songs she enjoys listening to, so that she would be more keen in learning them.
